An early 20th century conversation
tube signed by Hawksley & Sons London. The mouth and ear pieces of most
conversation tubes are made from plastic, celluloid,
horn or metal and these are the only example I am
aware of in wood. Very finely turned with a
beautiful grain and with silk wound tubing this is a
lovely piece of the highest
quality. |
