A conical ear trumpet made from molded celluloid which has been joined in two parts. The join can be seen near the apex. Commonly with these ear trumpets the ear piece extends away from the body but in this case the tube arches over the dome of the trumpet. The grill is made from brass painted black and is highly ornate. The ear piece itself is from an early plastic and is detachable with a clean firm thread. Dimensions: 70 x 120 mm.
