A fine and extremely rare late 19th century Grand Opera Dome ear trumpet by Rein in superb condition apart from some loss of silver plating. Signed in around the circumference in his fashion 'F C Rein and Son patentees sole inventors and only makers 108 Strand London' This trumpet came in two sizes, with  a long, or in this case a short earpiece.
