A delightful single celluloid auricle
in its own silk and velvet lined leather case signed Arnold and Sons
(who were incorporated into John Bell & Croyden in 1926). The
auricle is made from a single pieces of celluloid and was designed
to fit into the tragus of the ear where by virtue of its
transparency it would have been relatively inconspicuous hearing
aid.
