An early 20th century ear trumpet in a
rare beehive configuration made from celluloid. The celluloid is in
good condition. There is a join near the apex of the ear horn (see
pictures) which would have been part of the manufacturing process. The
removable ear piece is made from and early plastic and has a tight
thread. The decorative deco style grille is lined with a brass mesh to
prevent anything passing into the inside of the trumpet. A very
fetching and collectible piece. Height 110 x Width 90 m
