A lovely and very rare late 18th Century Shagreen lancet case which is in excellent condition. The top is silver and is unmarked. The bands of silver trim around the top, the hinge section and the bottom are marked with parallel concentric rings. The hinge and latch are tight and close with a firm click. The tortoise shell lancets are in good condition, three signed Charriere, two Chandler and on Savigny and Co. The overall dimensions are 70 x45 x18 mm.
