An attractive cupping set with four cups, a suction pump, connector and scarificator in a mahogany box. The centrally placed cup is a breast cup which was a common addition to these French cupping sets. The fourth cup has no suction mechanism and is a replacement. There is no makers mark on the instruments but the red leather lined lid of the box does have lettering which is difficult to read (see photos). The set came from Buenos Aires, the last word of which can just be made out below the makers name which is not legible.
