A lovely late 18th century porcelain transfer ware
barber's bowl which was used for shaving and could also
have been used as a bleeding bowl. The bowl is in
excellent condition with a fetching design and without
chips or cracks. There is a cutout for the neck, a
recess for soap and a hole through which the shaving
brush would be held. Marked with a design on the base
and signed CANOVA G&H.
