An early 20th century anatomical heart made
from gypsum and wood. Hand painted showing the major
vessels arising and the coronary arteries. Divides into
5 sections which interconnect through brass tubes and
studs. Has age related wear and some of the internal
structures representing the mitral and tricuspid
valves and the chordae tympani are damaged or missing.
It has had an amateur but sympathetic repair to some
of the gypsum and small areas of paint and to the
stem. Dimensions height 280 mm x with 170 x depth 220
